Extra Credit: Because of International Women's Day this week, what amendment gave women the right to vote?? Be the first to let me know!!! Congratulations to Prem and Abhinav!!! They were the first to let me know it is the 19th Amendment that gave women the right to vote.
Readers Workshop: Read 25-30 per night. Log reading daily, and have you parent or guardian initial your log (notebook or reading log). Read fiction chapter books at home. This will help continue your growth in reading stamina and fluency.
Students are working on personal grammar guides. Students have time to work on the topics in class. In order to stay on track, students may to work on their books at home. Ask your child how their grammar book is coming along. The book will be graded, and students will have an open book (their book) test at the end of the unit.
